The Neimoidian Queen
Important Announcement

This may or may not apply to anyone, but I’ve needed to make this , all the same, regarding my activity.

My father just passed away, and I’m currently caught up in all of the legal work which needs to be taken care of, as well as dealing with the emotional impact of this. There is a lot more to what is going on, and I would prefer to keep that private for now. I may or may not elaborate on it, when all is said and done (because Lord knows I need an outlet), but suffice it to say, it could take some months.

This is, by no means, the end of my activity OR the end of Neimoidians/Duros, but rather just a general statement about the possible and/or probable impact to my activity. I am deeply grateful for the support I’ve received from all my friends online, and from the Star Wars community, as a whole, and I ask that you bear with me during this difficult time.

Work in progress, portrait of the Neimoidian Zill Kartay.

I’m trying to make an acrylic painting for the first time, today is the birthday of my friend neimoidiansandduros! I obviously still need to work on it a lot, but I need to show her a little something at least. :)

paging kweh-chan This is your jam.

I was nominated by a few people to do the ice bucket challenge, and I did the bloody thing TWICE because the first video didn’t come out properly!

YAAAAAAY! congratulations and good job!

Also, hit me up while you’re in state and we can make a day of it!

Thank you <3

I’m actually in Colorado right now (Pike’s Peak is right behind me in the video XD); I don’t go back to the UK until the 4th. I’d love to see you and princess-anakin and princess-fett (again)!

Okay, I have the 29th, 30th and 31st off, so I could meet you in denver and take you to the zoo/botanic gardens/art museum if you like.

Oh gosh, that sounds wonderful; however, I’ve found out that my mother is going to be out of state those days and I have no way of getting there.

I’m really sorry :(

Oh my word, it has finally come to pass. This literally just happened on my Facebook.
I offered some insight into the Ebola situation (given that my dad is actually a resident of an Ebola-stricken country), a few comments back, person got all uppity with me…and then calls Africa a COUNTRY.
A COUNTRY.
I don’t think Ebola is what we need to be worrying about, right here…

Don’t talk to people about it when they’re stupid. And most people are dumb on the internet. Moreover, having a personal connection to the issue, idiots harass you because… just wasting your breath on an oxygen thief.

THIS is why I prefer Neimoidians to humans, and why they haven’t come back for me, yet.

No. 168 “The Unarmed”

Rest In Peace…

to Michael Brown, John Crawford, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Renisha McBride, Oscar Grant, Sean Bell And the countless other lives that have been taken away from this world due to prejudice.

And an honor to the many people in Ferguson standing up, fighting, hoping that some kind of justice can be had in the midst of chaos.

At last, a new Revolutionary Times comic has arrived.

Damn.

File under: Things I did not expect in this month’s Cosmopolitan, but I am quite impressed by. Now if they could write a little more about it that would be great.
(Also if someone who was asexual could actually confirm this is an appropriate and nice response, because I’m assuming it is.)

I’m asexual, in an almost 5-year relationship, and I certainly confirm that, to me, this feels like a very affirming, polite, and encouraging result. I’m actually surprised and VERY pleased to see this, given how many people don’t even believe we exist, or believe we are freaks of nature.
(that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy a naughty joke or two ;) )

A little unusual, but my tribute to Robin Williams

I based his hat shape off of his hair from Mork and Mindy, and the colours are from Genie.

Sleep well, Mr. Williams. You will never be forgotten.
