So Duros (and by extension Neimoidians) lay eggs.
Is it a regular occurrence? Do unfertilized ones get laid too? Do Neimoidians and Duros eat the unfertilized eggs? Must be such an inconvenience.
Egg-laying sentients would bond over their egg-laying problems.
That’s incorrect. Neimoidians do NOT lay eggs, as per more recent sources (look up their entry on Wookieepedia).Neimoidians give birth to live young, and place them in grub hatcheries, where the weaker ones die off, and the strong one(s) go(es) home after 7 years.
Now this is my own logic, but I would imagine that Duros do not lay unfertillised eggs, and only give birth following a successful mating. Duros take great pride in their child-rearing skills, compared to their Neimoidian cousins, and I cannot see them eating their own eggs, as a result of that.
I don’t normally (and don’t really like) to take pics like this, but Tey and I are living it up in London for a day :D
I think I just found my spirit animal
